I don't know what to say about this single... It's good and obviously kinda inspired by Swans. Then you get a demo I made for funzies and then a jam we did that sounds like a spooky boogie. My drummer wants to bang my bassist's mom. Hide yo moms.

Behind the Single/EP:
Cleave is the song we've been ending shows with and we feel proud of it. If you look past the surface level of cutting your face off with a box cutter, there's an obvious hidden meaning (or at least I think it's obvious). The Emerson Lake Embalmer is a title I thought was funny, so I made a demo and then I wrote some quick lyrics to support the title. You know, it honestly sounds like Primus, but I swear on the grave of my dogs that I did not intend that. I'm a big Primus fan and I 100% took lessons on bass from Les' figurative book, so that's why it's like that. I Lost My Head Game came from a practice we were recording and that jam just came out. We didn't record it a second time and we forgot about it until I dug it back up for this release. Then again, it was only like a few months ago, but after practices, we all kind of forget what we played (hence recording practices). Anyways, I think it's a fun addition. The title came from my idea that it sounds like a mutated Gentle Giant song and Grayson came up with the joke of I Lost My Head Game when we were looking for song title puns on Gentle Giant songs.
